Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of paizy.in, the Paizy mobile app, and related services (together, “Paizy”). By joining the waitlist or using Paizy, you agree to them.
What Paizy is
Paizy is a technology platform. The Paizy card is a virtual RuPay credit card issued by our RBI-licensed partner bank (the card issuer), and the service operates under applicable RBI regulations. Your cardholder agreement, the Key Fact Statement, interest rate, and fees are set out in the card documentation you accept before your card is issued; those documents prevail over this page for anything credit-specific.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of India.
- You must complete identity verification (KYC) as required by law before a card can be issued.
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
The waitlist
Joining the waitlist reserves your interest. It is not an offer of credit, and it does not guarantee approval or card issuance. We will contact you at the details you provide when access opens.
Your account
- Keep your device and login credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account until you notify us of unauthorised use.
- Use Paizy only for lawful, personal purposes. Fraud, money laundering, or use that violates law or these terms may result in suspension and reporting as required.
- Repay what you spend per your cardholder agreement. Late or missed repayments may attract charges disclosed in the Key Fact Statement and may be reported to credit bureaus by the card issuer.
Fees and interest
All charges are disclosed transparently before you confirm any credit transaction. Paizy does not charge hidden fees; anything payable is stated in the card documentation and in the app before you commit.
Service availability
We work to keep Paizy available and secure, but the service is provided “as is”: we cannot promise uninterrupted availability, and features may change as the product evolves. Where we retire a feature you rely on, we will give reasonable notice.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Paizy’s liability for claims arising out of the platform is limited to the fees you paid Paizy (not the card issuer) in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, or your statutory rights as a cardholder against the issuer.
Privacy
How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Grievances
Questions or complaints: email hello@paizy.in. We acknowledge within 48 hours and aim to resolve within 30 days. Credit-specific grievances are additionally covered by the card issuer’s grievance redressal mechanism and the RBI Integrated Ombudsman Scheme.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product and regulation evolve. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and the date above always reflects the current version.
